In case you haven’t heard, Issa Rae is the new Black — filmmaker, that is. \u00a0She has produced and directed several webseries, including her latest, and most popular to date series, “The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl<\/a>.” \u00a0Through this hilarious series, she shows us that Black women are so much more than the two-dimensional caricatures that we often see in the media. \u00a0With the success of her webseries, she proves that if we don’t like what we see on T.V., we can tell our OWN stories — and be successful doing it. \u00a0That is why I’m excited to interview her today!
